5 Days Royal Safari
Day 1 Treetops
We depart Nairobi in the morning passing through Tea and coffee plantation to Nyeri's Outspan hotel arriving in time for lunch. Hotel Transport picks you from here to the famous Treetops Tree hotel. Here you watch animals as you relax at the balcony as they drink and lick the floodlit water hole.
Day 2 Mount Kenya Safari Club.
Hotel transport takes you from Treetop to Outspan hotel to breakfast. We then Leave to Mount Kenya Safari Club in the back drop of Mount Kenya arriving in time for lunch. The afternoon will be at leisure whereby you can join in the hotel organised activities like golf, horse trekking or trout fishing. For dinner you have to be in a jacket and a tie.
Day 3 Lake Nakuru
After breakfast at Mount Kenya Safari Club we drive South passing through the Rift Valley escarpment having a stop over at Thompson Falls We drive on to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. We proceed for an afternoon game drive around the park famous for its Flamingoes carpeting the lake. Dinner and overnight in a safari lodge.
Day 4 Maasai Mara
After breakfast in Lake Nakuru, we proceed South passing through the Maasai country to arrive in Maasai Mara game reserve in time for lunch. We proceed for an afternoon game run in this game concentrated reserve famous for its black mane lions and other rare species. Rest of the evening at leisure or beside a swimming pool at your lodge. Dinner and overnight at a safari lodge or a luxury tented camp.
Day 5 Nairobi
We proceed for a Pre-breakfast game drive returning back for breakfast then en route game drive as we leave the reserve for Nairobi arriving in the afternoon
7DAYS TSAVO WEST-AMBOSELI-LAKE NAKURU-MAASAI MARA
Day 1:
After breakfast, depart for Tsavo West National Park which lies roughly halfway between Nairobi and the Coast. The chief marvel here is the Mzima Springs, replenished with two hundred and twenty million litres of crystal clear water everyday, from the underground streams stemming from the lava massif known as Chyulu Hills. Mzima Springs is a favorite haunt of hippos and crocodiles. There are well-marked nature trails, an observation platform and an underwater glass tank, which provides a special vantage point to view this remarkable oasis. Arrive in time for lunch at a lodge located within the boundaries of the Park. An early evening game drive to see large herds of Elephants, Buffalo , Common Waterbuck, Eland, Gerenuk, Masai Giraffe, Black Rhino and Antelopes. Bird life is also in abundance at this park of great diversity in habitat and terrain. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay OR campsite.
Day 2:
After breakfast, head for the bushy country of Amboseli National Park . Amboseli National Park is a landscape dominated everywhere by the glistening, majestic snowcap of the mighty Kilimanjaro - a fitting backdrop to the wild region. It is also the region where pastoral Masai and their cattle have lived in harmony with wild creatures for many a century. After lunch, experience an afternoon game drive at the foot of Africa 's highest mountain. Dinner and overnight is at one of the Amboseli Lodges, located in the very heart of the Amboseli National Park or campsite.
Day 3:
An early morning game drive followed by a hearty breakfast at the lodge and then depart for Nairobi for sumptuous lunch. Thereafter proceed north towards Mt Kenya for the unique experience of all night and unlimited game viewing. Lunch will be at the base hotel while dinner and overnight will be at a tree lodge surrounded by forest and overlooking an illuminated waterhole and salt lick or at campsite.
Day 4:
After breakfast, drive to Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park . The park provides a sanctuary for the rhino. Lake Nakuru has always been considered a flamingo lake par excellence. The contrast and apparent dislocation between the shallow soda lake with its primeval birds and the animated woods all around it give Lake Nakuru National Park a very distinctive appeal. Dinner and overnight at a lodge overlooking the lake or tat campsite.
Day 5:
After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara - the land of vast migrating herds. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to get a closer look at the Mara. Return to an archetypal Mara Lodge/tented camp for sundowners, dinner and overnight stay or at campsite.
Day 6:
Awaken to the sounds of the big game country and venture out to absorb the enormity of the Mara. In this country of breathtaking vistas, view its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators: Buffalo, Black Rhino, Hippopotamus, Leopard, Cheetah, Common Zebra, Coke's Hartebeest, White bearded Gnu, Oribi, Warthog, and Thompson's and Grant's Gazelles. An early evening game drive to catch up on all that was missed. All meals and overnight stay are at the Lodge or campsite.
Day 7:
After breakfast, return to Nairobi.Transfer to airport for your next destination.
